SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT, PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Listed in the Inc. 5000 for multiple consecutive years as the fastest-growing Talent Management platform in America, we are seeking a driven SVP of Product Management to help build an AI-native platform for the entire employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, learning, and beyond. You'll own product for the heart of that platform and its agentic layer, and you'll do it in a company that already has a broad footprint, real customers, and high ambition.
The base salary for this role is $240,000 - $280,000 annually plus bonus and equity potential.
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
You’ll partner daily with Engineering, Data Science, QA, Design, Product Marketing, Customer Success & Support, Sales, and Revenue Operations.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Product strategy and delivery for the platform rebuild and the agentic layer
- Manage a team of talented product managers
- Manage the cross-functional operating system for product: the planning, prioritization, and communication rhythms that keep engineering, design, and every downstream go-to-market function aligned and moving
- Strategic portfolio management. A disciplined planning process with ROI-based prioritization, capacity planning, explicit investment trade-offs, and a rolling roadmap cadence aligned with key stakeholders
- Customer-centric discovery. Customer feedback, product-usage data, and market insight systematized into one consistent, data-driven decision framework
- Execution excellence. A predictable operating cadence across product teams, including standardized planning, governance, and delivery, that lifts speed, quality, and accountability
- Repeatable go-to-market. A launch process that spans Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations so every release lands the same reliable way, and the downstream teams are set up to win before it ships.
First Year Expectations
- Establish trust and clarity. Stand up a shared, believable roadmap and a communication cadence that Product Marketing, Customer Success & Support, Sales, and Revenue Operations rely on.
- Ship on the platform and agent roadmap against measurable adoption and outcome targets, while managing coexistence with the legacy estate.
- Make the strategy legible. Everyone from a new PM to an account executive should be able to explain where we're headed and why in their own words.
WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- Extensive experience with the agentic SDLC, building agentic products and building with agents.
- A strong execution track record. You've repeatedly turned ambiguity into shipped, measurable outcomes on a broad or complex product footprint.
- Technical credibility with the teams that build. You're technical enough to be a genuine peer to engineering, data science, and QA — not to write the production code, but to engage substantively on architecture and complexity, pressure-test timelines and resourcing, and push on how AI accelerates delivery.
- Cross-functional communication that earns trust — especially downstream. This is central to the role. You have a demonstrated ability to gain and keep the trust of the teams that depend on product.
- Executive communication and presence. You can hold a room, be it the leadership team, the board, a skeptical customer, or a floor of engineers.
- Platform and systems product thinking. You design products as a connected system and treat the data model as part of the product, not plumbing.
- Data-informed judgment. You define success in outcomes, instrument for it, and let evidence — including evidence against your own ideas — drive decisions.
- People leadership. You've hired, leveled, and coached product managers, and built teams people want to work on.
- Extensive experience in product management, including several years leading product teams at the VP / Head-of-Product level in B2B SaaS.
- Experience in HR tech / HCM or an adjacent regulated B2B domain is a plus
- Experience with platform / API products and third-party integrations.
- Experience scaling a product function through a period of significant change or rebuild.
