DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MARKETING

The base compensation for this role will be $160,000-$180,000 and bonus potential of up to 10% of annual salary.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
As our Director of Product Marketing, you’ll architect our product narrative, build modern go-to-market processes, and serve as the strategic connector for Product, Sales, and Marketing—all while thriving in a dynamic, distributed, remote work environment. This role will report directly to the CMO, collaborating closely with executive leadership and cross-functional peers across our distributed organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Architect and Scale Process: Design, document, and embed a modern product marketing operating system—launch playbooks, GTM checklists, and messaging frameworks—that enable repeatable, scalable excellence across a growing, increasingly diverse product portfolio.
- Lead with Storytelling: Be the primary champion shaping a unified, differentiated product and platform narrative as ClearCompany rapidly expands—integrating new solutions and acquired technologies with clarity and impact.
- Bring the Transformation to Life: Partner with Product, Marketing, and Sales to spotlight our evolution—so every launch, campaign, and customer touchpoint reflects the bold change happening inside ClearCompany.
- Bring the unique voice of our ICP and customer to the fore: Build a systematic process to incorporate deep customer insight—from case studies to advisory councils—into messaging, launches, positioning, storytelling.
- Own Launches & Go-To-Market: Strategically plan and hands-on execute launches across our expanding product suite, ensuring the right story is told at the right moment with the right impact.
- Champion AI & Innovation: Ensure our new wave of AI-powered features has a unifying story and truly differentiated positioning, while using AI to continually elevate product marketing activities and outcomes.
- Lead Market & Competitive Intelligence: Lead ongoing market, competitive, and customer research—ensuring our positioning and GTM strategy are always differentiated, data-driven, and relevant to the evolving needs of our personas and ICP.
- Analyst & Influencer Relations: Build and maintain relationships with industry analysts and external influencers to shape perception of ClearCompany and our growing product suite in the broader HR tech ecosystem.
- Metrics & Executive Communication: Define and report the metrics that best reflect product marketing impact—adoption, launch results, market perception, and more; present strategies and insights to executive leadership as a trusted adviser.
- Connect the Organization: Serve as the key link between Product, Sales, and Marketing—driving alignment and results across teams, regardless of location.
WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
- A process-builder who has developed frameworks, programs, and scalable operations within high-growth, multi-product SaaS businesses.
- You take a modern, innovative approach to product marketing—using AI and emerging technologies not just to improve execution, but to rethink and empower how a best-in-class PMM function operates.
- Deeply curious, with a strong point of view on where AI and the HR Tech market are headed, and skilled at translating technical milestones into meaningful customer value.
- Part strategist, part hands-on doer; equally comfortable shaping vision and rolling up your sleeves to execute.
- Gifted storyteller able to craft compelling, differentiated narratives from complexity or ambiguity.
- Experienced at building relationships and driving results across distributed teams.
- 7+ years’ experience in B2B SaaS Product Marketing with proven process-building and transformational impact. Experience in HR tech, M&A product integration, and/or remote organizations a plus.
