SALES ENGINEER

As a Sales Engineer, you’ll maximize sales opportunities by providing product and technical expertise to ClearCompany’s prospects, partners, clients, and sales teams. You’ll demonstrate how our products can solve specific customer problems

The base compensation for this position is $64,000 to $84,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance based bonuses paid out quarterly. The bonus payout is $45,000 annually when performing on target. A detailed bonus plan will be provided in writing at the time of offer.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

While focusing on helping our customers succeed and driving towards company revenue targets, you’ll also work closely with the sales team and marketing on new product onboarding and training, as well as hosting client and partner-facing webinars to further educate our audience on ever-evolving Talent Management best practices.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to determine the best way to help each customer understand the business value ClearCompany provides
  • Perform product and process-related discovery to ensure ClearCompany is well-positioned in a competitive marketplace
  • Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and software demonstrations to customers
  • Train Sales Executives and Partners on new product updates and the value they provide to clients
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to reflect customer and prospect feedback on the development roadmap
  • Stay on top of the Talent Management space, from emerging trends to changing

  • Explore the world of Human Resources, covering topics ranging from the various roles in organizations, industry-specific needs and challenges, to the common (and uncommon) technologies used throughout.

Next 60 Days -Product Training

  • Dive deep into the ClearCompany platform, and begin mastering the modules.
  • Demo the solution to internal teams
  • Learn the competitive differentiators of the ClearCompany platform so that you can clearly communicate the value and benefits of the software to prospective customers
  • Shadow discovery and demo calls with your peers
  • Begin learning about competitive systems in the HR ecosystem
  • Explore case studies and successful client testimonials
  • Continue learning the HR world and how ClearCompany solutions address problems within it

90 Days - Go For It

  • Partner with Sales on your first deal, with support from others as needed
  • Determine customer requirements and ClearCompany product fit, and guide prospects to uncover additional needs throughout discovery conversations.
  • Utilize your technical and product understanding to assist Sales Executives and Account Managers create and deliver compelling ClearCompany client demonstrations to audiences with varying levels of technical mastery, and make expert recommendations on product needs and process adjustments.
  • Collaborate with ClearCompany’s Partnerships team to train current partners to resell the ClearCompany platform and demonstrate the value of ClearCompany’s software to new prospective partners and resellers.

WHAT WE'D LIKE YOU TO HAVE
A great candidate:

  • Has experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, Sales, Implementation, Customer Success, or Product Management, preferably supporting SaaS industry product(s).
  • Enjoys problem solving and can translate technical knowledge into language understood by non-technical audiences.
  • Hears and understands pain points expressed by our prospects, applies industry knowledge to dig deeper into issues, and positions themselves as a trusted consultant through comprehensive product demonstrations.
  • Adapts their thinking and presentation style on the fly to accommodate changing inquiries around users, available technology, cost, and potential impact at the big-picture and granular levels.
  • A drive to develop the best customer experiences, bring deals to close, and grow revenue.
