Senior Product Marketing Manager

SENIOR PRODUCT MARKETING MANAGER

You will be a champion and evangelist of the ClearCompany product and brand internally and externally. You will be responsible for providing the sales and customer success teams everything they need to drive revenue, upsells and product adoption - developing product positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, sales enablement and marketing communications and programming.

You will partner with the product team and cross-functional stakeholders to bring new products and features to life, captaining go-to-market launch planning and effectively packaging new items for external release. You will collaborate and work closely across teams to define product, messaging and launch requirements, address obstacles and effectively communicate product features and benefits to clients and prospects. The base compensation for this position is $110-125,000 annualized depending on experience and qualifications. This role is eligible for an additional compensation incentive in the form of performance-based commissions/bonuses paid out quarterly. The commission/bonus payout will be between $20,000 and $30,000 annually when performing within the target range.

  • You will work in a highly visible and collaborative environment across Product, Marketing, and multiple client-facing teams and interact with the executive team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

In your first 90 days, you will:

  • Complete product training, audit existing sales assets and product positioning, participate in GTM launch planning and get to know your teammates and cross-functional partners
  • Get up to speed on the talent management software category, our user audiences and product use cases, the ClearCompany brand and differentiators, industry and HR software trends, and our sales cycle and competitive set.
  • Develop sales enablement, product messaging and client and prospect facing programming for upcoming new items and our existing product modules.
  • Support GTM initiatives and new release planning, contributing to communications, cross-functional alignment, launch scheduling and packaging.

Ongoing after 90 days:

  • You will take ownership of, and lead and execute a variety of product marketing initiatives including new product positioning and launch planning, programming and campaign development, sales enablement, brand and web content development, and GTM team meetings.
  • Create beautiful, revenue-driving sales and marketing enablement deliverables, including sales collateral across segments, product webinars, videos, product tours for top of funnel use, and web assets. Develop copy and creative that brings our product functionality and benefits to life, providing clear creative direction to our outside design agencies.
  • Develop, manage, and own competitive intel documentation for new and existing products and features. Regularly conduct HR industry research.
  • Develop cross-functional relationships and lead cross-functional teams and new product initiatives.
  • Maintain the product web presence, ensuring our online product story is succinct, compelling and up-to-date.
  • Actively lead and manage Go To Market planning and execution of new product releases. Work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and problem solve as necessary to keep releases and launch plans on track.
  • Maintain GTM new release hub - keeping product details and GTM timelines and deliverables up to date.
  • Understand new release sales and adoption processes and contribute to sales and adoption success. Actively partner with Sales, CSMs, Sales Engineering, Learning, Marketing Team, GTM stakeholders and client facing teams to develop messaging, internal and external communications, sales assets and campaigns, pricing and programming as needed to support achievement of goals
  • Experience with Analyst Relations a plus but not required.

WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO HAVE

  • 3-5 years of product marketing experience successfully producing product messaging and creative, sales enablement, marketing programming and campaigns and assisting with sales, go-to-market and new product initiatives.
  • 7-10 years of overall marketing experience. SaaS experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent writing, storytelling and communication skills, and a flair for presentations and creative development.
  • A knack for translating technical details into clear benefits and value propositions for end users.
  • Proven project management and team leadership skills, with a strong attention to detail and a knack for problem solving, brainstorming and achieving alignment.
  • A passion for understanding and advocating for the customer experience.
  • Comfortable taking ownership, initiating action and forging your own path as well as collaborating and working inter-departmentally. Our 100% remote work environment means it’s vital to be a self-starter and communicator who is willing to ask for help and get work done independently.
  • A portfolio or past work samples that demonstrate your creative and copywriting prowess across different sales asset formats (decks, video, blogs, web, sales collateral etc).
